Bank Account Opening in Hong Kong

There is no restriction for fund flow into or out of Hong Kong bank accounts. The identity of account holder and information is also subject to high standard of confidentially.

Bank Account Information:

Standard Accounts types include:

i.	Hong Kong Dollar(HKD) current account (Cheque book is available)
ii.	Multi-currency account (USD, EURO etc)

Bank Accounts can be operated by the way of:

i.	Traditional over the counter when the client Is in Hong Kong.
ii.	Phone Banking
iii.	Internet Banking

Required timing for opening bank account:

i.	If the client is going to operate the bank account by themselves, the directors are required to attend the bank office in Hong Kong in person to sign the bank opening papers and examination of the identity documents. Normally the account will be functioning within 1 to 5 working days.
ii.	If the client is going to use our Nominee Service, the procedures can be performed by the Nominee(s).

Documents required for opening bank account:

i.	Certified copies of the corporate papers of the company
ii.	Original passport and valid address proof for each of the directors and the account signatories.
iii.	A statement by the directors stating the purpose of the accounts (for overseas companies).
iv.	A statement declaring the beneficiary owners of the company (for overseas companies).
